The Authorized Representative for Human Rights in Turkmenistan, Yazdursun Gurbannazarov, took part in the work of the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of human rights protection in the Eurasian space: exchange of best practices of Ombudsmen” in Moscow.
The Forum was held to exchange experience and discuss acute issues of youth policy, ensuring the rights youth in the sphere of education, employment, political, entrepreneurial, volunteer and other spheres of public activity, as well as coordinating the efforts of participating countries to protect of the rights of youth abroad.
As the edition of “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, Yazdursun Gurbannazarova made a speech at the conference on “Youth participation in the development and implementation of youth policy”.In her speech, she stressed that in Turkmenistan pays special attention to improving legislation in the field of youth policy and social protection of youth.
Adoption of the new version of the Law of Turkmenistan “On State youth policy”, “The State program in the field of state youth policy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025” and a number of other documents proves it.
Moreover, Yazdursun Gurbannazarova performed as an observer at the VII meeting of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance (EOA) dedicated to the topic “Legal education on human rights and freedoms as a direction of human rights activity”, the source notes.
