The Pearl of Africa  Uganda invites tourists from Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan and Uganda are separated by thousands of kilometres, yet this country of contrasts has every chance of becoming a popular destination for Turkmen travellers eager for new discoveries and exciting experiences.

This was reported by representatives of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), who are participating in the international tourism exhibition and conference Turkmentravel 2026 in Ashgabat.The colourful costume of a representative of Kubwa Five Safaris, a leading African travel company, attracted particular attention from visitors to the exhibition.

The delegation representative noted the incredible beauty of the Turkmen capital and spoke enthusiastically about the opportunities opening up for tourists from our country in East Africa.According to Kubwa Five Safaris CEO Joseph Aliganyira, the company has been specialising in organising unique wildlife tours since 2018.

The route geography covers key regions of East and Southern Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Namibia and Madagascar.The name Kubwa itself means big in Swahili, referring to the famous big five African animals: lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and Cape buffalo.

Safari programs are designed to allow every traveller to encounter these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.Uganda is rightfully considered one of the most amazing places on the continent.

It is here that the largest population of the world of mountain gorillas and chimpanzees is concentrated.In addition to its rich fauna, the country impresses with its landscapes.

Here you will find powerful waterfalls, the source of the legendary Nile river, and, contrary to popular belief, real snow can be seen on the mountaintops.The main goal of participating in Turkmentravel 2026 was to find partners in Turkmenistan to establish long-term cooperation.

Ugandan representatives expressed their willingness to actively work with local agencies to open up the riches and hospitality of the Pearl of Africa to the citizens of our country.
