The capabilities of the Turkmenbashy International Seaport were presented at the 19th International Exhibition “Transport and Logistics TransLogistica Uzbekistan 2023”, reports the website of the Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan.
At the stand, specialists from the Turkmen sea harbor presented information materials about the Turkmenbashy international sea port, its technical capabilities and advantages. Particular attention was paid to the large-scale modernization of port infrastructure carried out within the framework of national development programs.
During the exhibition, negotiations were held with a number of large transport and logistics companies, such as MSC Tashkent LLC, FESCO, MEDLOG GEORGIA LLC, Albayrak, Central Asia Trans, Azlogista, TRANSASIA Logistics, PRIME Shipping & Transportation.
Meetings were also held with representatives of PSA Africa PTE LTD and the World Bank on issues of attracting investment in the shipbuilding industry of Turkmenistan.
In addition, prospects for cooperation with RAM Spreaders, a manufacturer of innovative port loading and unloading equipment, were discussed.
During the negotiations, options for expanding joint activities and implementing new projects using the potential of the country’s transport infrastructure were considered.
