The news outlet “Turkmenistan: golden age” reports that on 28 September President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov awarded coaches, winners and prize holders with valuable gifts.
On behalf of the President the athletes who received gold medals at the Games “Ashgabat-2017” will get passenger cars Toyota Camry GL Executive; silver medalists — $5 000; bronze medallists — $3 000; coaches of winners and medalists — passenger cars Toyota Camry GL Executive.
In response the athletes presented a gold bicycle to the head of the state.
Let us recall that Turkmen athletes won 245 medals, including 89 gold, 70 silver and 86 bronze medals.
The runner up in the number of gold medals, the Chinese team, took home 42 gold medals.
