President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and all the people of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia celebrated today.
This was reported in today's issue of the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
“We are sincerely pleased with the achievements of the Republic of Armenia over the years of independence and are convinced that mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries will continue to grow”, says the congratulatory message.
Noting that the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and trust, the head of state expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation established in various areas would further develop and strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished President Vahagn Khachaturian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the wishes of health and happiness, and the entire people of Armenia - peace, well-being and prosperity.
Independence Day of Armenia is the main state and national holiday of the Republic of Armenia. The holiday was established in honor of the referendum on the declaration of sovereignty by the country on September 21, 1991.
