Yesterday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting through the digital system with the participation of members of Milli Gengesh, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the agricultural complex, and heads of public organizations.
Separate issues of the life of the state were put up for discussion, as well as drafts of a number of documents were considered.The first speaker was Cabinet Deputy Chairman E.Orazgeldiev, who reported on the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the procurement of “white gold” by cotton growers, cordially congratulating the head of state on the successes achieved.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the preparations for the celebrations dedicated to the upcoming Harvest Festival.Among the planned events are state awards ceremonies for distinguished tenants, the presentation of valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to agricultural workers, machine operators and experienced industry workers who have grown rich harvests of wheat, cotton and other crops, and a festive concert.
In addition, a report was made on the preparations for the upcoming exhibition and scientific-and-practical conference dedicated to the achievements of the domestic agricultural industry on November 14 in the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov having cordially congratulated the cotton growers and all the workers of the agricultural sector on fulfilling their contractual obligations of “white gold” harvest, wished them good health, family well-being and further great success in their work to ensure food abundance in the country.
Having announced the decision to grant state awards for the conscientious work of agricultural workers who have achieved high performance, the nation’s leader signed the relevant Decrees and sent them to the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh through the digital system.
The head of Turkmenistan assigned the Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh G.Mammedova, Deputy Prime Minister E.Orazgeldiyev and Chairman of the Central Council of the Agrarian Party B.Annagurbanov to hold a ceremony of conferring of the state awards to agricultural workers in a solemn atmosphere on November 13 at the Mekan Palace, as well as to organize all events dedicated to the Harvest Festival at a high level together with the khyakims.
Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh G.Mammedova informed about the activities for further improvement of national legislation.The analysis was carried out and corrective action were taken to develop the planned regulatory legal acts controlling the activities of various industries, as well as to implement the Mejlis Work Plan for 2021.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need for further improvement of legislative activity, taking into account the priority tasks of socio-economic development of the state.The President of the country also underlined the need for the Mejlis to take all measures to clarify the essence and significance of the adopted laws and other legislative acts to the public.
Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh K.Babaev reported on the carried out work to improve the legislative framework of the state.Members of the Halk Maslakhaty, together with Mejlis deputies, specialists of ministries and sectoral departments, take an active part in the legal support of large-scale transformations carried out in the country under the leadership of the head of state.
Currently, preparations are underway for the third session of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh of the first convocation.The committees analyze and prepare conclusions on the new laws adopted on October 30 of this year at the fifteenth meeting of the Mejlis and on amendments and additions to the existing regulatory documents.
Organizational issues related to the holding of the third session of the Halk Maslakhaty have been resolved, an appropriate agenda has been prepared, which includes issues on the Law of Turkmenistan “On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2022”, as well as laws providing legal support for transformations in various industries, protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms, legality and law and order, effective use of state property, land resources, development of the service sector, environmental protection, improvement of economic relations, international initiatives of our country.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to prepare and hold the third session of the first convocation of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh scheduled for November 12 at a high organizational level.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of a broad study of international best practices in the light of improving national legislation.Then Chairman of the Central Council of the Agrarian Party B.Annagurbanov congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the Harvest Holiday and informed about the ongoing propaganda and educational activities among the population, about the goals and objectives of the state policy.
