1.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which a wide range of issues were discussed - from upcoming international events to plans for modernizing the national economy.
Particular attention was paid to the areas of healthcare, education, trade, industry and transport.In connection with the approaching New Year, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the heads of the relevant structures to ensure an abundance of various food products at affordable prices on domestic shelves.
2.Turkmenistan will take part in a number of events in Brussels in order to develop cooperation with the European Union.In particular, the delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in the 15th meeting of the Human Rights Dialogue “Turkmenistan European Union”, which will be held on December 18.
On December 19, the Turkmen delegation will be represented at the 22nd meeting of the Joint Committee “Turkmenistan - EU”, within the framework of which the parties are developing economic cooperation.
Turkmenistan will also be represented at the Transport Investment Forum, which will be held in the Belgian capital on January 29-30, 2024.
3. In the 2024-2025 academic year, Turkmenistan plans to send young citizens to study in-demand specialties at higher educational institutions in China and Hungary. Young professionals will be trained in the fields of information technology, health and medical sciences, education and educational sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technology, mathematics and natural sciences.
4. During 2024, a number of international events will be organized in Turkmenistan on the occasion of the proclamation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world. In this regard, the corresponding Plan was approved and an organizing committee was created.

6.Turkmen singer Bahar Annayeva won the Grand Prix of the youth song competition “Star of the Year 2023”.The final of the competition traditionally took place on the eve of the New Year, in the “Arzuw” celebration hall of the shopping complex in the city of Arkadag.
The purpose of the event was to encourage the creative activity of young people.The winner of the competition was awarded a challenge cup and valuable gifts.

9.The Turkmenistan Futsal Cup starts in Ashgabat.The games will be held at the sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports.
The fight for the Cup will be fought by 8 teams, which were divided into two groups.According to the regulations, the group round will be held in a round robin system in one round.
The two best teams from each quartet will play in the semi-final matches.
10.Within the framework of the events held during the Year of Culture of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan, a group demonstrating Chinese martial arts will perform in Ashgabat.
The performance will be held on December 21 at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the history of Chinese martial art and its types.
