The President of Turkmenistan instructed to intensify work to improve legislation

At the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the results of the work of economic sectors in January and issues of public life were discussed, TDH writes.

According to the Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, at the beginning of the year, draft laws were being prepared aimed at modernizing civil law relations, energy saving and increasing energy efficiency. Work also continued to amend the Family and Civil Procedure Codes in order to strengthen family values.

Along with this, Mejlis deputies took part in 7 seminars on improving legislative activity and ensuring the implementation of government programs, organized by relevant institutions together with UN departments and other authoritative international structures.

Summing up, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of continuing work to improve the country's legislative framework in accordance with the requirements of the time. According to him, new laws should contribute to the further progress of Turkmenistan and improve the well-being of citizens.
