At a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council of Turkmenistan held today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made personnel changes in the leadership of the State News Agency, the Vatan news program of Turkmen television reported.
By the decree of the head of state, Bekdurdy Amansaryev was relieved of his post as chairman of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan in connection with his retirement.
The President of Turkmenistan appointed Gazakbayev Merdan Amanjanovich as the new head of the State News Agency, relieving him of the post of editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Vatan”.
By the decree of the head of state, Sahetmyrat Gurbangeldievich Kakyshov was appointed deputy chairman of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
