1.Within the framework of a working visit to Tashkent to participate in the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The heads of the two states discussed the prospects for expanding mutually beneficial partnership in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying economic cooperation within the framework of the ECO.
2.Today in Ashgabat, at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held the grand opening of the International Exhibition “Turkmentel-2023”, dedicated to the development of the telecommunications sector.
Over 200 representatives of the IT sector from around the world and Turkmenistan take part in the forum.The event is organized by the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
3.The volume of Turkmen gas supplies to Iraq will amount to 9 billion cubic meters per year.The corresponding Protocol on the main commercial terms of the agreement on the sale, purchase and sale of Turkmen natural gas to the Republic of Iraq was signed following a meeting between representatives of the State Concern “Turkmengas” and the delegation of the Republic of Iraq.
4.The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care sent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine.Assistance is primarily intended for Palestinian children, as noted in the relevant Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The humanitarian cargo consists of medicines and medical supplies, textile products, including clothing for children and bedding sets, as well as footwear and food products.
5.The Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan has announced the program of the IV International Festival “Theater Art of the Age of Happiness”, which will be held in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag on November 14 16.
The program includes both performances by Turkmen theaters and guest performances.Creative groups from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan will arrive in Turkmenistan to participate in the festival.
