Yesterday in honour of the 30th anniversary of sacred independence of our Fatherland in the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Complex celebrations in which President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated, were held.
And the day before, on September 27, the "paradise" racers proved to be in all beauty again on the anniversary parade which was held in the capital in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of independence of our Homeland.
In the morning, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Complex.The bright colour inherent in the present Turkmen that was introduced in a holiday palette by inspired speeches of actors and stage performance groups, and also ensemble of the musicians-bakhshi who showed masterly skill of the dutar.
Here the wrestlers competing in wrestling showed the force and dexterity.The President of Turkmenistan goes up the central tribune of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Complex.
Then the start was given to festive races.For various distances Akhal-teke horses showed their precipitancy, speed and playfulness in seven races. 12 racers took part in each of them.
In the first four events for distance of 1400 meters three-year-old racers competed.In the starting race the best result equal to 1 minute 31,5 seconds was shown by the dun racer Nowruz of the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan operated by the jockey B.
Babayev.In the second race, the first to come to the finish was the silvery and dun racer Garabatyr that belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs with its jockey O.
Yalkabov.It covered the distance in 1 minute 33, 5 seconds.In the third event the best result was gained in 1 minute 31,7 seconds by the bay horse Gumdag of the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan operated by the jockey O.
Agamyradov.The black racer Menekli belonging to the Ministry of Energy who overcame the distance in 1 minute 32 seconds and became the leader of the fourth race.
Its jockey is J.Hydyrov.In other races four year old and older racers competed.So, in the fifth race for the distance of 1800 meters the first with result 2 minutes 02,3 seconds the bay horse Kelete belonging to the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan, by the jockey - B.
Badjamov finished.In the sixth race for the distance of 2200 meters the racer of grey colour Syrdashym, belonging to the State Bank for Foreign Economic Relations, showed the time 2 minutes 23,7 seconds and became the best, by the jockey B.
Berdimukhammedov.In the final, seventh race the racer of grey colour Goshasakar belonging to the Akhal-teke horse complex of the President of Turkmenistan, by the jockey - B.
Badjamov became first to come to the finish for the similar distance where there was a contest for the first prize founded by the President of Turkmenistan.Result of the winner - 2 minutes 31, 2 seconds.
Then the awarding ceremony was held.Winners of 1-6 races were handed 100 thousand manats.The prize of 300 thousand manats founded by the President of Turkmenistan to the jockey who won the seventh race for the distance of 2200 meters was handed by Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, head of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association 'Türkmen alabaý itleri', honoured coach of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Having expressed to the head of state warm gratitude for every possible care of stimulation and development of equestrian sport in the country, preparation and increase in skill of professional jockeys, participants of competitions, they assured that they will make all efforts for preservation and continuation of the glorified national traditions of riding, further promoting of unique Akhal-teke breed from now on.
