The President to open a new hospital. Air conditioners are urgently being removed from apartment blocks located along the route of the Presidential motorcade

Сeremonies devoted to the commissioning of newly-built construction sites timed to coincide with the 25 anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, scheduled to be celebrated on 12 December, 2020 are still underway in Turkmenistan.

On 13 November, 2020 the festive opening of the infectious diseases hospital with President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov in attendance is scheduled to be held in the village of Yzgant, Gekdepe etrap.

In this connection, staff of Ashagbat public utilities departments are urgently dismantling air conditioners from apartment blocks located along Alisher Navoi street and Gurbansolta-edje avenue where the Presidential motorcade is expected to pass by.

In the summer house administration staff had already obliged residents of these houses to re-install air conditioners so that connecting hoses and cables of outside blocks were not seen from the street.

At that time people who had paid 200 to 240 manats for reinstallation of air conditioners were informed that their houses met the requirements and they would no longer be disturbed.

According to an employee of the house management office, external air conditioning units need to be dismantled pursuant to the safety requirements issued by the President’s security team.

About a week ago, before the President held an opening ceremony for elite apartment buildings and unveiled a monument to the Central Asian shepherd dog, inhabitants of the apartment block located along Magtymguly street had been requested to remove air conditioners.

This measure was supposed to ensure the security of the country’s leader.

In late October, in the run-up to the opening of the vehicle fleet operator complex, not only air conditioners and satellite aerials, but also pipes from boiler houses located in backyards, were dismantled from two-storey cottages in Choganly.
