The international universal exhibition “White City of Ashgabat” has become a unique platform for presentations of new projects and proposals, introducing foreign guests to the achievements of various industries and structures of the Turkmen national economic complex.
According to the “MIR24” TV channel, at this forum, which was held in Ashgabat from May 24 to 25, a project for the construction of the high-speed Sarahs-Mary-Serhetabat highway was proposed.
The route, about 450 kilometers long, is a four-lane highway with a width of 27,5 meters.
Exhibition participant, founder of the construction company Annamuhammet Ojarov comments:
“The high-speed highway will create favorable conditions for a significant increase in the volume of transported goods from the territory of Turkmenistan and acceleration of transportation. In this regard, great opportunities will open up in the development of transport links with neighboring countries”.
Interested parties are already studying the areas where it will be laid, and conceptual designs of the road and facilities on it are being prepared, the source notes.
