The road map of experts of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation in the field of water use and ecology includes more than 20 projects

Earlier, we reported that Ashgabat was visited by a Russian government delegation headed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The delegation was also attended by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Stepan Kalmykov.

Kalmykov and the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan Allanur Altyyev signed the Action Plan (“road map”) for cooperation between Russian and Turkmen experts in the field of water use and ecology.

The “Road map” includes more than 20 cooperation projects to solve the problems of the Caspian Sea, exchange experience and practices in the field of water use, including in the field of reducing water losses and ensuring the safety of hydraulic structures.

Stepan Kalmykov also took part in the Turkmen-Russian business forum and other official events, reports poisknews.ru.
