The Russian Embassy in Ashgabat held a New Year's reception

On December 13, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan held a traditional New Year’s reception for representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

According to the embassy’s website, guests were greeted at the entrance with treats by Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.

Ambassador Ivan Volynkin, in his welcoming speech, wished the audience good health and success in the coming 2025.

The embassy choir performed for the guests, including compositions in the Turkmen language.

The performance of the famous song “Moscow Nights” in Russian and Chinese was a musical gift from the Chinese Embassy, the source notes.
