The themes of new issue of ecology magazine reflects the priorities of natural protection activity

Regular issue of quarterly scientific and popular magazine “Ecological Culture and Environment Protection” published under the aegis of the State Committee for Natural Protection and Land Resources has been released. The issue published in Turkmen, Russian and English covers international ecological event as well as actual directions of natural protection activity.

The issue is opened by the article dedicated to the beginning of autumn green planting campaign. One of the comments is dedicated to mandatory ecological insurance introduced in our country in 2013. This procedure is the key condition for performing of all kind of activities, which may cause harm to the environment.

The issue has an article of the specialist of the State Concern Turkmengaz on protection of water resources in gas industry, particularly on disposal of formation and condensate waters produced together with gas as well as forming during industrial processing of gas.

There are multi-stage technologies of water treatment to remove toxic and dangerous mixtures.Scientific personnel of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan are involved in solution of such issues.

One of the articles of new issue is dedicated to unique place of Turkmen nature, Hazar Natural Preserve, which is already 85 in this year.All of these years, there were study and protection of flora and fauna of the sea and coastal zone resulted in hundreds of articles and 43 volumes of yearly publication “the Chronicles of Nature”.

Caspian bays are the places of habitat and rehabilitation of waterfowl and water-related bird species during migration and hence, back in 1971, the territories of Turkmenbashy and North Cheleken bays were included to Ramsar List as the wetlands of international significance.

In 2008, Turkmenistan has joined Ramsar Convention as an independent state, having continued the work for protection of Caspian environment.Monitoring of sea and ground waters condition is carried out by the specialists of Caspian Ecological Control Service of the State Committee for Natural Protection and Land Resources.

Development of agricultural complex leads to increase of organic wastes that affect the environment.Use of new technology for waste-free treatment of organics received from the livestock farming activity allows receiving biogas and bio fertilizers containing bio nitrogen, which is a stimulator for plants growth.

This proposal was made by the scientists of the Institute of solar Energy and Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences.

There is also an article about juniper forests of Kopetdag Mountains, which conditions, ability of natural seeding self-renewal, resistance to vermin are studied by the specialists of National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna.

The subject is continued by the article of dedicated to the aspects of saxaul forests protection in Repetek, which are the dominant of deserts ecosystems as well as natural and environmentally friendly assistants of people in stopping of moving sands.

All publications of new issue are followed by bright photos illustrating the diversity of Turkmen nature and uniqueness of its sanctuary places.
