A concert by the Melody Orchestra, conducted by Annaoraz Dovletov, was held at the Watan Cinema and Concert Hall in the capital of Turkmenistan.April, the most beautiful month of spring, is a time when nature awakens from its winter slumber, inspiring people to sing and celebrate.
Residents of Ashgabat eagerly accepted the invitation to attend the performance of this new musical ensemble, for which this was only the third concert in its artistic career.The Melody Orchestra welcomed the audience with “Blue Light,” a piece from the repertoire of the group “Güneş.” Bahar Durdyeva lifted the spirits of the audience with her performance of the song “Weather in the House.” The audience joined in, singing along to the heartfelt lyrics of this popular tune.
Meanwhile, Rodion Gazmanov’s song “Dance While You’re Young,” performed by Mustafa Yagshyev and Emir Bayramgeldiyev, literally brought half the audience to their feet.The crowd enthusiastically embraced the lively number, with many dancing in the open spaces of the hall.
That evening, both established and emerging pop vocalists took to the stage, including Dovran Shammyyev, Baky Annamyradov, Aylar Batayarova, and Guzel Matkarimova.They performed such beloved songs as “Girls Are Like Stars,” “Sometimes,” “My Baby,” and “Love Me, Love Me,” among others.
Dovran Shammyyev also sang several international hits.His excellent pronunciation, effortless delivery, and expressive performance once again earned him warm acclaim.The audience greeted the popular Turkmen song “Ah, Jennet” by Bayram Taganov, performed by Emir Bayramgeldiyev, with an almost standing ovation.
Emir Bayramgeldiyev also performed “Samba of the White Moth” from the repertoire of Valeriy Meladze.The timbre of Emir’s voice and his style of performance are remarkably well suited to the lyrical songs associated with the Meladze brothers.
The audience expressed their gratitude with enthusiastic applause, thanking the musicians of the Melody Orchestra and the program’s soloists for a truly wonderful evening.
