The tourist train “Golden Eagle” arrived in Turkmenistan

The tourist train “Golden Eagle” arrived in Ashgabat on May 2 after crossing the Turkmen-Uzbek border on May 1. The train follows the route of the Great Silk Road with 97 tourists from seven countries on board, reports the IIC.

The tour group includes representatives from the USA, China, Canada, Russia, Singapore, Great Britain and Hungary.

In the Turkmen capital, guests will visit the city's main attractions, including the Independence Monument, the Neutrality Monument, the “10 Years of Independence” Park, “Bagt koshgi” and the Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex.

On May 3, the tourist train will continue its journey to Ichoguz station, from where tourists will be organized an excursion to an impressive natural site - the burning gas crater of Darvaza. After this, the “Golden Eagle” will head through the city of Dashoguz to Uzbekistan along the route of the Great Silk Road.
