The Turkmen delegation got acquainted with the technical capabilities of the Baku port

During their visit to Azerbaijan, the delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by the head of the department of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Murad Muradov, got acquainted with the technical capabilities of the Baku port. This is reported by trend.az.

The Turkmen delegation includes leaders representing public and private structures in the field of transport, logistics, and trade.

The purpose of this visit is to expand mutual cooperation in increasing cargo transportation between Central Asia and Europe, identify additional potentials and encourage the attraction of new types of cargo.

The cargo handling capacity of the Baku Sea Port, which is 15 million tons per year, will be expanded to 25 million tons, and a budget has already been allocated for this, the source said.
