The two-day XI Turkmen-German Medical Forum, organized by the Ministry of Health on a digital system, started in Turkmenistan. As TDH reports, the event is attended by professors and doctors from well-known clinics in Germany, teachers from the Turkmen State Medical University, and heads of medical institutions in Ashgabat and velayats.
On the first day of the forum, its participants discussed issues of cooperation in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, emergency care, oncology, traumatology, orthopedics and other areas.
German experts highly appreciated the achievements of Turkmenistan in the field of healthcare. It was noted that the country is making targeted efforts to improve the national healthcare system, modernize the industry infrastructure, expand the range and quality of medical services provided, and approve the principles of a healthy lifestyle.
Modern medical centers and treatment and preventive institutions are being built, equipped with advanced equipment, much of which is produced in Germany, the world leader in this field.
Confirming their desire to expand fruitful cooperation, German professors expressed their readiness to share their experience and latest developments with their Turkmen colleagues. This is especially relevant in the context of the modernization of the healthcare system of Turkmenistan and the transition to an innovative path of development.
