The US Embassy in Turkmenistan will hold an eco-festival in Turkmenabat

On Saturday, April 22 at 16:00 in Turkmenabat, an eco-festival will begin, which is organized by the US Embassy in Turkmenistan in partnership with the Government of the country on the occasion of the Earth Day celebration.

The festival will be held in the park “Bitaraplyk”. The event will be attended by US Ambassador to Turkmenistan Matthew Klimow, who, along with media representatives and local authorities, will go on a tour of the festival points organized in the park. There will be: a book exhibition, quizzes and eco-events, vegetarian cuisine, master classes and much more.

On April 22, Earth Day is celebrated around the world, when various events are held to draw people's attention to the fragility and vulnerability of the environment.

Let us remind that the first eco-festival in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat last year.
