The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myahrijemal Mammedova met with the Mayor of the city of Rome Roberto Gualtieri during a visit to the capital of the Italian Republic.
As the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department notes, during the meeting between Mammedova and Gualtieri, special attention was paid to intercultural dialogue and the preservation of cultural heritage.
In addition, the parties discussed practical steps to hold an exhibition of unique artifacts of Turkmenistan in the Italian Republic.
The Turkmen delegation also visited the Capitoline Museum in Rome and the Roman city thermal power plant Centrale Montemartini.
