1.The solemn opening ceremony of the Week of Culture of the Turkic States was held at the National Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
Within the framework of the Week of Culture, joint concerts of creative teams of the participating countries are held, as well as the opening of a photo exhibition.The week will end on June 28 with a joint concert of opera singers from the Turkic states and the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.
2.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the new facilities located near the International Airport of Ashgabat.The head of the agency “Turkmen Airlines” Dovran Saburov reported on the state of affairs at the air base, its equipment and ongoing work to establish aircraft maintenance.
As emphasized, the techno park of “Turkmen Airlines” is replenished with new modern aircraft.Recently, two cargo aircraft of the Airbus A330-200 model of the P2F modification arrived in Turkmenistan.
This type of aircraft is used for the first time in Central Asia.In addition, at the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan, it is planned to purchase 7 more aircraft.
3.Journalists of the Public Television of Armenia were invited to Turkmenistan.The invitation was announced by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhametgeldi Ayazov during a meeting with the Executive Director of the Public Television of Armenia Hovhannes Movsesyan.
The Ambassador noted that the guests from Turkmenistan took part in the morning broadcast of the Public Television several times, and this was a good opportunity to present the ancient history of the Turkmen people and the original Turkmen culture to the wide Armenian audience.
Ayazov invited TV journalists from Armenia to visit Turkmenistan to report on the new city of Arkadag, Ashgabat and the country as a whole.
4.From July 10 to August 7, artists of the Big Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky avenue and Yuri Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard will perform at the State Circus Arena in Ashgabat.
The program includes acrobatic performances, performances of trained animals, jugglers and tightrope walkers, as well as clowns.Performances by Russian artists in Turkmenistan will last until the end of September 2023.
Circus performances will also be held in Mary, Turkmenabat, Dashoguz, Balkanabat.
5.Three new metal tanks designed to store more than 3000 cubic meters of oil products have been built and put into operation at the Vekilbazar enterprise for the production of oil products in Mary velayat.
This will permit the enterprise to solve the issues of reliable storage and shipment of petroleum products.This year, the enterprise also built and put into operation an overpass equipped with modern equipment, which permits refueling 18 fuel trucks at the same time.
6.A free sign language interpreting service has been launched in the velayats and the capital of Turkmenistan, which is provided to deaf or hard of hearing people to facilitate their communication with various organizations, including notaries, hospitals, banks and hyakimliks.
Sign language interpreters work in local branches of the Society of the Blind and Deaf of Turkmenistan (OSGT) five days a week.They provide in-office and out-of-office interpreting on a first-come, first-served basis.

7.In Kazakhstan, in honor of the 25th anniversary of Astana, the Metropolitan Department of Youth Policy announced a literary competition “The Best Young Writer”, in which young poets and writers aged 14 to 35 living in the capital can take part.
The winners will receive a prize of 500 thousand tenge (more than 1100 USD).To participate, you must submit an appropriate application and the work itself, written in verse or prose.
According to the organizers of the competition, its main goal is to increase interest in the history and culture of their country, support positive youth initiatives, and identify young talents.
8.The British company Domino`s has mastered the delivery of pizza by a courier with a jetpack on his back.The jetpack flying suits were made by Gravity Industries.
The experiment involved a network of pizzerias and couriers specially invited for this.The place of the first flight of a courier with a satchel on his back was a field near the city of Glastonbury, where the rock festival of the same name takes place.
The courier took the pizza from the bakeries closest to the place, flew over the field, stopped, gave the order and flew on.

9.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Vice President of the International Cycling Union (UCI), President of the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) Osama Al Shafar.As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, Turkmenistan has all the possibilities for holding major international competitions in various disciplines of cycling and is ready to consider the possibility of using a modern indoor cycle track in the Olympic village of Ashgabat.
In turn, the head of the Asian Cycling Confederation noted the experience of Turkmenistan in the impeccable organization of large-scale sports competitions, which serves as a reliable guarantee that world tournaments in the country will be held at the highest level.
