The World forum on international law will be held in Ashgabat under the auspices of the UN

In 2028, Ashgabat will host the World high-level forum on international law.Following this large-scale event, it is planned to adopt the Ashgabat declaration.Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister R.

Meredov announced this initiative at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting while reporting to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on plans to hold the UN-proclaimed Year of international law in 2028.

The forum will be held with the direct support and participation of the United Nations, bringing together authoritative world leaders, diplomats, and legal scholars.The draft Ashgabat declaration will be submitted for consideration by the participants.

The declaration aims to formally affirm and consolidate the primacy of international law as the fundamental basis for ensuring global peace, security and sustainable development.
