The youth national team of Turkmenistan (U-20) held its first control match at a training camp in the UAE. The sparring partner of the Turkmen “youth team” was the local team “Fursan Hispania”.
The meeting ended with the victory of the national team of Turkmenistan with a score 4:3. In the Turkmen team distinguished themselves with scored goals Suleyman Mirzoyev (2nd minute), Dayanch Meredov (7), Galabeg Jumamuradov (79), Sohbet Durdyev (87). On September 7, the Youth National Team of Turkmenistan (U-20) will play sparring with another team from the UAE.
We remind that the training camp in the UAE is aimed at preparing the team for the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup (U-20), which will be held from September 10 to 18 in Amman (Jordan).
In the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2023, the youth national team of Turkmenistan (U-20) will compete in the same group with the teams of Jordan (host), Taiwan, Syria and the Northern Mariana Islands.
The winners of the 10 qualifying groups and the 5 best second-place teams will enter the final part of the Asian Youth Cup 2023, which will be held from March 1 to March 18 next year in Uzbekistan.
