Thursday Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Diesel Fuel, HDPE

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday registered deals for the export of Turkmen diesel fuel, and the sale of polyethylene to domestic market.

Particularly, 3 export deals for hydrotreated diesel fuel and 4 export deals for diesel fuel of the L-0.2-62 brand were concluded during the exchange trades, the SCRMET announced on Friday.

As a result of the trades, the price of hydrotreated diesel fuel decreased by 6.4% compared to the previous auction, amounting to $1,043 per ton. The price of diesel fuel of L-0.2-62 brand amounted to $995.5 per ton.

Hydrotreated diesel fuel was purchased by Turkish (5 thousand tons) and the Emirati (7.2 thousand tons) businesses. Diesel fuel of L-0.2-62 brand was also purchased by Turkish (5 thousand tons), the Emirati (2.5 thousand tons) and the UK (2.5 thousand tons) businesses.

For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased 184 tons of high-density polyethylene of T60-475-119 brand for 3.3 million manats (18,000 manats per ton).

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $48.86 million.
