Trade Between Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan Reaches $492.4 Million in Jan-Jul 2023

Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to $492.4 million in January-July period of 2023, according to the report published by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan on Tuesday.

In the first seven months of this year, Uzbekistan imported $383.3 million worth of Turkmen products. At the same period, the country’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $109.1 million.

Uzbekistan's total foreign trade turnover in January-July 2023 amounted to $35 billion, which, compared to the same period last year, is an increase of $6.6 billion, or 23.3 percent.

In 2022, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan amounted to $926.3 million.
