Trades at Turkmen Exchange For March Third Week: $181.7 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) over the past week amounted to more than $181 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.

Businesses from the UAE, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Malta purchased liquefied gas, diesel fuel, gasoline, aviation kerosene in foreign currency.

In addition, Turkish businesses bought cotton yarn and Uzbek businessmen procured float glass.

Last week, 16 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Established in 1994, SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
