Trades at Turkmen Exchange in December’s First Week: $6.8 million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $6.83 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses based in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The Afghan businesses also purchased liquefied gas produced by the enterprises of Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern and hand-made carpets.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased HDPE of Türkmenhimiýa SC and hand-made carpets for over 39.11 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 20 transactions last week.
