Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Aviation Kerosene, Salt, Medical Products

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) registered five deals totaling $993.7 thousand and 904.1 thousand manats during Thursday trades.

During the trades, the Afghan business procured 500 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene fuel.The price of the product, produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, decreased by 4.7% compared to the last similar auction and amounted to $1,115.75 per ton.

The total amount of the transaction is $557.8 thousand, the SCRMET announced on Friday.

The Emirati company purchased 10 thousand tons of iodized salt of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern for $200,000. On the same day, the business form Pakistan purchased iodine and diamond green pencils 48 thousand pieces each produced by the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. The total amount of the deal is 128.6 thousand manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $23.1 million.
