Transport capabilities of Turkmenistan were discussed at a briefing in Brussels

A briefing on the transport and transit potential of Turkmenistan was organized in Brussels. The briefing was held by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium with the participation of a representative of the Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan

The main topic of the briefing was the transport diplomacy strategies of Turkmenistan, the innovative capabilities of the international port of Turkmenbashy, as well as the transport and transit prospects of the country, the IIC reports.

Ambassador Sapar Palvanov highlighted the progress in the development of the country's transport sector and emphasized the importance of strengthening interregional ties. Particular attention was paid to the potential of Turkmenistan as a key transport hub in Central Asia.

The event was attended by heads of European media and research centers. The source notes that such meetings contribute to the understanding of the transport system of Turkmenistan and intensify direct communication with leading experts and representatives of the country’s transport sector.
