Tuesday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Cotton Yarn and Sulphur

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered 4 deals worth for the procurement of cotton yarn and technical granulated sulfur.

A total of 518 tons of cotton yarn of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan was sold to Turkish businesses. The total amount of the transactions reached $1.1 million, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.

During the trades, the local entrepreneur bought 520 tons of technical granulated sulfur for 1.1 million manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $54.25 million. Businesses from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan procured hydrotreated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
