Tuesday Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Liquified Gas, Fuel Oil

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered export deals for Turkmenistan-made liquefied gas and low-sulfur fuel oil. The total amount of the deals exceeded $38.46 million.

The businesses from the UAE and Switzerland procured 80 thousand tons of low-sulfur fuel oil at $446.75 per ton. The total sum of the deals amounted to $35.74 million, according to the SCRMET.

The Afghan businesses purchased 5 thousand tons of liquefied gas for $2.72 million.

In addition, the Emirati company bought 22 thousand kilograms of yarn for 990 thousand manats. The price of a kilogram of yarn sold at SCRMET trades made 45 manats.

Local businesses procured 10 tons of oil bitumen for domestic market with the price of 2,500 manats per ton. The total amount of deals was 25 million manats.

Turkmen entrepreneurs also bought handmade Turkmen carpets for more than 84.4 thousand manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $77 million.
