Turkmen Ambassador Presents Credentials to Head of European Council

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan Sapar Palvanov presented credentials to President of the European Council Charles Michel in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday.

During their bilateral meeting, the sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, including economy, trade, energy, transport projects, climate change, and the digital economy.

President Michel expressed interest in further strengthening ties with the Central Asian region, highlighting the EU's three-pronged agenda for Central Asia: security, peace, and socio-economic development.

Both sides expressed readiness to cooperate and to continue dialogue within the framework of Turkmenistan-EU.
