Turkmen Business Exports 222 Tons of Polymer Bags

An enterprise run by Turkmen entrepreneur Parahat Atadurdiyev exported 222 tons of polyethylene and polypropylene bags to Russia and Turkey.

The company in Turkmenistan’s Mary province produces woven PE and PP bags under the WEAVARO brand, a representative of the company told the Business Turkmenistan on Saturday. Its products are also supplied to the markets of Ukraine, Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

The workshop of the enterprise, equipped with the newest Chinese machinery, has the output capacity of 1.5 thousand tons of bags a year. Raw materials are bought from the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

It produces bags with a width of 40 cm and a length of 90 cm.

Launched in June 2021, the enterprise of Parahat Atadurdiyev exported 529 tons of products to Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Afghanistan last year. This year, the entrepreneur plans to produce 1 thousand tons of the goods.
