The Italian city of Montesilvano will host the World Chess Championship among boys and girls in the age categories under 14, 16 and 18 from November 13 to 25. About 800 participants from 93 countries will take part in the tournament, reports the Chess Federation of Turkmenistan.

This tournament is one of the most important starts for young chess players from all over the world, as the winners are awarded the direct titles of International Master or FIDE Master.
The championship will be held according to the Swiss system in 11 rounds with classical time control, i.e., one and a half hours for the entire game with an addition of 30 seconds after each move.
