The State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan urged Turkmens citizens to take an active part in the upcoming complete census of the population and housing stock of the country.
In an SMSs sent to the TM CELL mobile operator customers, the statistics committee informed of the timing of the census and its importance for the further socio-economic development of the country.
According to the message, the event with the slogan “Census 2022 - Unity, Happiness, Bright Future!” will take place on December 17-27 this year.
"Let's take part in the census together, and together we will determine our future," the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan stated.
This year's census will be held for the first time using digital technologies. Their use is expected to provide the most accurate data on demographic and socio-economic indicators in the country.
