Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Foreign Traders Purchase Polypropylene

Kazakh and Turkish traders inked an agreement to acquire TPP D 30 C polypropylene at currency transactions on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), as reported by SCRMET's press service on Friday.

The Exchange saw a substantial $6.3 million total value in deals for the purchase of polypropylene of TPP D 30 C type.

Pakistani business representatives secured raw silk transactions worth $300,000.

Meanwhile, local business circles seized opportunities for the domestic market, finalizing contracts for oil road bitumen, Turkmen hand carpets, and ready-made bed sets, totaling $16.2 million.

In a trading week, the SCRMET recorded transactions surpassing $51.3 million.
