Turkmen Company Berk Üçek Launches Production of Polymer Colorants

The Berk Üçek Economic Society located in Turkmenistan’s Mary velayat launched the production of polymer colorants (super concentrates) this year, the Ashgabat-based Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The enterprise employing 26 specialists is equipped with production machinery from a Chinese manufacturer and is capable of producing 2,500 tons of colorants per year.

The colorants produced under the BUM brand are exported to Turkey and Romania.

The company’s colorants are used as paints in the manufacture of plastic products. These products are in high demand among plastic manufacturers, according to the report.

Most of the raw materials required for production are obtained from the local Kiyanly Polymer Plant.

Berk Üçek started its operation in 2018 with the production of slates. The company’s future plans include the expansion of its export oriented products.
