Turkmen Company Erkin Gurluşyk Plants 95,000 Fruit Seedlings This Year

The Turkmen company Erkin Gurluşyk has already planted 30,000 grape seedlings, 50,000 cherry seedlings, 15,000 apple, blackberry, peach and quince seedlings in the first months of this year, the major business union of the country Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Thursday.

In 2015, the enterprise received a land plot on the territory of the Oguzhan etrap of the Mary velayat. Currently, 300 hectares of land are cultivated, where 100 thousand apple trees are planted on 40 hectares, more than 4 thousand varieties of grapes, vegetables and melons are planted on 30 hectares.

The company also planted 250 thousand conifers, 10 thousand roses, 100 thousand grapes and other fruit trees.

The fruit plantations and vegetables are cared for in accordance with the rules of agrotechnics. They are irrigated and fertilized with modern methods, such as drip and rainwater.
