Turkmen Delegation Prepares for Ninth China International Import Expo

A Turkmen delegation held a videoconference Wednesday with officials from the Eurasia Department of China’s Ministry of Commerce. The sides exchanged views on preparations to ensure the Turkmen delegation’s high-level participation in the ninth China International Import Expo in Shanghai, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reported.

Officials and specialists from the Eurasia Department of China’s Ministry of Commerce, as well as representatives of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Turkmenhimiya State Concern, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs were attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed a plan for organizing Turkmenistan’s national pavilion at the ninth China International Import Expo in Shanghai and showcasing the country’s export and production capabilities.

The sides also discussed expanding trade relations, facilitating export-import procedures and supporting joint investment projects.
