Turkmen Delegation Presents Energy Projects to Investors at London Forums

A delegation from Turkmen Energy Forum presented a portfolio of Turkmenistan’s energy projects to international companies and investors during International Energy Week and the London Energy Forum, held Feb. 912, 2026, in London, United Kingdom, TEF said.

Participants were briefed on plans to develop the Galkynysh gas field, offshore projects in the Caspian Sea, gas processing, modernization of oil refining capacity, and the use of associated gas. Separate attention was given to renewable energy initiatives, including a hybrid solar-wind power plant project near Altyn Asyr Lake.

Significant focus was placed on regional infrastructure. The delegation outlined progress on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline, including construction of the SerhetabatHerat section, which is viewed as a route to South Asian markets.

According to the statement, the Turkmen delegation also presented environmental initiatives aimed at reducing methane emissions and cutting gas flaring.

Participants in the London events were invited to take part in international energy forums scheduled to be held in Ashgabat later this year.
