According to official Turkmen media, the delegation's participation was authorized by a decree signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The decision comes in response to the increasing interest of international financial institutions and investment companies in the further development of the city of Arkadag. This includes plans to expand the use of innovative technologies, establish new industries, modernize transportation infrastructure, and foster international cooperation for sustainable economic growth in various sectors, including construction.

Additionally, President Berdimuhamedov approved the composition of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group on the Turkmen side.
