Turkmen delegation took part in the Prix Italia-2024 festival in Turin

From October 1 to 4, the Prix Italia-2024 festival was held in Turin, Italy, to mark the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Italian television and radio company RAI.

This festival has been held annually since 1948, and this year a delegation from the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography took part in its events.

Within the framework of working visit, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with RAI International Relations Director Simone Martotrelli and PRIX Italia Secretary General Chiara Longo Bifano. The meetings discussed prospects for cooperation and an agreement was reached to sign an agreement with RAI.

The Turkmen delegation also took part in the opening ceremony of the festival, which was held within the framework of the “Loud and Clear” festival. This year, representatives of many countries, including Turkmenistan, attended the opening session.

The festival included bilateral meetings between representatives of European television companies and Turkmenistan. Traditionally, the event ended with an award ceremony.

“Prix Italia” presents awards in twelve categories, covering TV drama, radio/podcasts, documentaries and digital projects. This year, the special prize of the President of Italy was awarded to RAI.

The festival is held annually in various major cities of Italy.
