Turkmen Doctors to Improve Their Skills at German Clinics

Turkmenistan will dispatch 150 doctors of different specializations to leading German clinics to improve their skills and exchange experience.

The Minister of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov informed about the dispatch to the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a Wednesday meeting at the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Healthcare in the capital.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov supported the idea, saying such cooperation is beneficial to the development of the Turkmen-German ties in healthcare, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

The minister also informed about the medical services provided to children with congenital heart defects, including the preoperative preparation of young patients and their rehabilitation in the postoperative period, as well as the capabilities of this center.
