Turkmen doctors took part in training on cooperation in the CARINFONET network

Specialists from Turkmenistan took part in a regional training on the standard for rapid interoperability of health systems in the Central Asian region, which was held in Tashkent.

According to Turkmenistan: The Golden Age, the training was organized by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) with the support of the European Union and is aimed at improving data exchange and ensuring the compatibility of health systems in the Central Asian region through the CARINFONET information network.

The Central Asian Republics Health Information Network (CARINFONET) is based on cooperation between five countries and serves as a platform for improving health information systems. It promotes cooperation within the Central Asian countries in the preparation of relevant, objective and accurate statistical data.

CARINFONET operates under the auspices of the European Health Information Initiative.
