The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine organized a Health Week ahead of World Health Day, observed annually on April 7, the embassy said Monday. The initiative included a series of sports and wellness activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The program featured competitions in mini-football, athletics, weightlifting and arm wrestling, as well as chess and checkers tournaments. All events were held in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and unity.
Turkmen students and young people living in Ukraine took part in the activities organized by the embassy. Participants said such initiatives provide an important opportunity to strengthen ties with their homeland, expand communication and maintain a sense of cultural connection.
The Health Week events highlighted the commitment of Turkmen youth to national values and an active, healthy lifestyle, while contributing to the country’s positive international image.
