Turkmen Enterprise Milli Önüm Exports 129 Tons of Polypropylene Thread

Milli Önüm company of Entrepreneur Bayram Meredov, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, exported 129 tons of polypropylene thread last year, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.

The enterprise started operating in 2016. It processes polypropylene and produces thread used to bind greenhouse vegetables and haystacks. Since the beginning of last year, the enterprise has produced 493 tons of this product.

It obtains raw materials for production from Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries as well as from Kiyanly Polymer Complex.

The enterprise processes 50 tons of polypropylene and produces from 1.3 to 5 kg of polypropylene threads.

Advanced equipment from Germany and Turkey is installed at the facility. This fully automated company employs 33 specialists.

In addition to the domestic market, Milli Önüm currently supplies its products to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.
