Turkmen environmental control specialists have mastered the use of the “ATMAS” air analyzer

Specialists from the laboratories of the Environmental Control Service and the velayat departments of environmental protection of Turkmenistan took a course on working with new equipment for monitoring the degree of air pollution.

According to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the participants of the course got acquainted with the new device - the air analyzer "ATMAS", studied its functionality in detail. They were also able to test the new device in action and measure the concentration of dust with different particle sizes.

Further, the possibility of standardizing the device on the territory of Turkmenistan was considered.

The training was organized within the framework of the project “Sustainable Cities in Turkmenistan: Comprehensive Development of Green Cities in Ashgabat and Avaza”, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan in conjunction with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

At the end of the training, copies of the “ATMAS” device was handed over to all representatives of the velayat departments, the source notes.
