Turkmen Institute of Economics and Management Announces Winners of the 4th International Macroeconomics Olympiad

The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management has announced the winners of the 4th Open International Internet Olympiad in Macroeconomics, held by the institute with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan among students of higher educational institutions from Turkmenistan and abroad.

A total of 135 students from 36 universities in 10 countries took part in the Olympiad, including Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, and Pakistan.The Olympiad was conducted as an individual competition.

The jury included representatives of scientific and educational institutions as well as university professors from the participating countries.According to the results, 62 students were awarded prize-winning places.

Among them, 17 participants received first place, 27 second place, and 18 third place.Turkmen students won a total of 16 prizes—3 first places, 7 second places, and 6 third places—representing the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Turkmen State Energy Institute, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, the International University for the Humanities and Development, and the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.

Sixteen winners and prizewinners also came from Russian universities, including the Volga Region State University of Service, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.

N.Yeltsin, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, and the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.Students from Kyrgyzstan performed notably, winning 8 prizes, while participants from Uzbekistan earned 6 prize-winning places.

Students from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Pakistan, and Germany were also among the winners.The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management congratulated the winners of the 4th International Macroeconomics Olympiad and expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and interest in the competition, which reflected joint efforts to expand international educational cooperation, strengthen friendly relations, and broaden opportunities for developing the scientific and creative potential of youth.
